So I guess if you missed it in Chapter 1 you have to wait until NG+ to grab it? I just went back to the spot where it is located and there is nothing,

Nah, I picked it up after beating chapter 5. You should check again.. maybe hug the head very hard.

Oh I ran right up to it and everything, no prompt and it isn't in my inventory. I am still in chapter 4 though so I guess I'll check back in Chapter 5 and after.

Can you get it Thorin? I finished chapter 5 and tried to get it but no R2 prompt to pick it up..
This game has quite a lot miss-able check point

Not too sure but it ended up in my inventory somehow.

There are multiple of them just FYI, assuming you didn't already figure this out.

The one in chapter 1 is specifically at the Buddha head near the mini waterfall at the river curve just before where you fought the first boss and got Immobilize. There was originally a guy who jumped over the waterfall and vanished back then, if you recall. You grab it from the Buddha statue head's eye.

Yep that is why I named the Skandha "Skandha of Form" as that is the one you specifically get from chapter 1 after the Mandrill lady leaves the creek.
