Multiple Gourds

I just realize there are different gourds... Do you have to upgrade them separately or do gourd levels carry over?

It seems like only a few gourds can be upgraded, I'm not sure how many, so I haven't used my wine worms. It's pretty annoying. So far only the default and the one I bought from the store are the only ones that can be upgraded though, so it may end up just being those two.

Just keep upgrading the main gourd. You get access to some additional content in chapter 5 for upgrading it to the max

Do I need to upgrade the main drink as well? Or just the gourd?

Just the gourd. Maybe there's some bonus to upgrading it to max, but I haven't done it myself
