Screen going black mid game

I've tried every combination of graphic combinations and system settings that I can, but the game constantly will have my screen flash black for 2 - 3 seconds every minute or so, mostly during fights, but travel as well.

It's making the game unplayable. Has anybody else had this issue and know how to fix?
