Note to developers: Making your entire biome one color.

In short, don't.

In long, I thought the forest was confusing. Then I reached the desert, and holy crap, this is even worse. I can't remember the last time I spent this much time lost and aimless in a game. I'm not saying you should include a map, or quest markers, but please give us something. A compass would be nice. I am tired of getting in a fight, losing all sense of direction, and then being forced to head in one random direction until I find some kind of landmark.

This would be a moot point if you just added some objects that weren't the same color as absolutely everything else. But every brown rock looks the same as every other brown rock, and all of the structures are also brown.

It feels like the game is deliberately labyrinthine. Nobody enjoys being lost.

Not having a map or quest markers is probably one of my favorite features. There are more than enough games that hold your hand all the way thru till the end.

Can't disagree more. This game is extremely easy to navigate.

This game is absolutely full of notable landmarks and obvious paths that help maintain your direction.

Yeah, areas may be large and you have to memorize where to go, but they are never confusing. So this is not about coloring, you are just asking for a map.
