do i have to redo completed side quests in the second playthrough?

hey guys, i got a question about side quests.
i have done all secret areas thus far except for chapter 5.
so if i want to get the true ending, do i have to redo all completed ones when i play a second, coz they are tedious as heck.

Yes, you need to do all the bosses including the optional bosses to unlock the 6th relic but the good news is that NG+ is very easy. You can finish all 6 chapters including the optional bosses in less than 5 hours.

it only gets challenging after you've unlocked all 6 relics for the third time.
