Chapter 6

This one is confusing. What do I even do here? I got the cloud, found a bug (after I mounted it, it jumped away and was never seen), beaten up a rock guy, found a what I assume is a big staff behind the water fall, beaten up the frog and found a dear (damn it is hard and still not beaten). But the whole level seems poorly put together and I am really not sure what should I do.
Any tips?

Warning major bug with beating the game
Spend all your will just in case you get hit with the bug I did. I beat the game and went to see if any of the NPCs in Zodiac Village changed. None except Yin Tiger changed, offering to now sell Gold Silk/Gold Cores.

However, I found I had 0 will upon visiting him but during the final boss fight I had over 200k will... I lost all my will after beating the game to a bug.

I've not seen others complain about it so it is very likely rare, but I still advise rather than waiting until post game before your NG+ to upgrade... simply just upgrade before the final boss anything you want and buy up extra resources. Not worth losing half a game's worth of will from nonsense like this. They really didn't test chapter 6 at all.

Final boss (won't spoil for anyone who hasn't beaten it that sees this thread) is pretty epic, but nonsense you do 4 fights (3 is basically 2 parts) in a row without any recovery whatsoever, plus boss can randomly steal your gourd repeatedly. The last 15% of the 2nd and 4th phase are basically longer than the other 185% of phase 1 + 2 & phase 3 + 4 combined...

Luckily scraped by first try because detransform from horse when done casting heavy charged thunder (prepared focus before transforming) gave me 4 uses in the fight since I had partial might spared this way. Gave me a lot of free dmg/health to work with.

Honestly, considering how lengthy the ordeal is unless it lets you skip phases you've progressed to I could see the final boss design outright ruining the entire ending for the average player.

when you die, you only have to fight his last 2 phases. it's a good fight

nice. Yes, I liked the fight, myself. I felt it a bit odd how it was a tad artificial with his last chunk of HP auto-dodging heavies and stuff but other than that one of the better ones along with Bishui Beast. Hopefully the secret boss will be just as good when I get around to trying it later. If so would make them my top three favorite bosses of the playthrough.

Kind of funny how he kept trolling Destined One and giving back the gourd.
