Unreal Engine 5 for games is a terrible engine.
skip every UE5 game like this one and MGS DELTA cuz hooooly moly - with a 4070ti + i7 12700k overclocked this game doesnt manage to hold solid 60fps...

i put everything on cinematic except for render distance (high) and shadows (very high).

ps.: frame generation off + vsync on + 100% super resolution (DLAA/DLSS).

pps.: guys, i'm criticizing a game that i loved and i bought. I just know that the devs have a lot to improve performancewise. its not a hate thread on the game but a loving critic.
You guys will not see me commenting on games i hate.
Hopefully this one will improve like starfield did with the performance part.

bruh, then do very high settings, medium ray tracing and bring the dlss down to 60-70. i have a 13700k and the same card as you and i was getting 120fps with those settings.

cinmeatic is too high for 4070s IF you want the extra stuff to be maxxed as well.

The game is havely demanding true. i have 4090 with 13700k raytracing ultra, with cinematic preset on 1440p getting 80 fps avg

hopefully OP sees this.

5800x/3080 here, did all high with very high distance with dlss performance (50%) at 4k RT off and get around 70fps avg. crap like motion blur off.
looks quite average for how it runs which is normal for unreal engine.

another person who did it right at least. and im not trying to say OP's dumb but if you expect to jump on a brand new UE5 game and run everything at the highest possible settings without the highest possible tech in this day and age you are mistaken.

Lol even the Steam Deck can handle UE5 games, time to upgrade your potato...

i did. i'll tune down the graphics of course, but it's still absurd that a game is THAT demanding nowadays. i hate UE5 through and through - amazing movie engine (used on barbie movie ) but terrible for games even though its good for amateur developers.

the only potatos im upgrading are my biceps on the gym.
my PC is high end and its absurd for a game not to run at solid 60fps 1080p...
these devs are insane. the game isnt even THAT beautiful to begin with.
most of the details are useless when you are actually playing the game.

I wish more games would use Unigine.

its a pretty engine. but i wish more developers knew how to fine tune the games for the general public. its not actually the engine's fault but most of the devs are pretty amateur when it comes to it.

i bought the game anyway.

hopefully the fights don't have excessive frame drops.
