Better wait for the new 50xx series
BM:W was made with RTX in mind, my 3070 is way too weak and lightning/shadows looks way better with RTX on. A shame they didnt develop "RTX OFF" mode as much as they did "RTX ON", i cant really blame the devs tho, RTX ON looks superb. I guess im gonna buy BM:W when i have a "RTX READY" GPU and hold off the game in the meanwhile.

30 series card could use a dlss-to-FSR mod.
I've used this mod to increase about 20 fps+ in Darktide with 3060ti.

With my 3070 game runs just fine.

Also rocking a 3070. Game looks perfectly fine without RT. With medium RT I was able to get 45fps on medium settings so with the mod mentioned above it's doable at 60. Game seems surprisingly good on VRAM.

I'm also eyeing the 50 series but the 5070 needs to drop with 16GB of VRAM or it's a waste imo. Even 12GB is low for 1440p with RT.

that is strange, used 1440p resolution and got stable 60 fps with all settings on high (dlss quality value 75).
shadow/terrain/etc-distance loading is very noticable and distracting.

i managed to get plague tale 2 running on 2k ultra or very high settings (except shadow on medium or so) with 60 fps and that game looks stunning.
BM:W RTX OFF however looks like a graphical mix of nioh 1 and 2.
dont get me wrong, both games run really good and i still prefer a game with no technical issues but worse graphical presentation than a next-gen looking game riddled with technical issues.

I got average of 96 FPS with High settings on RTX 3070 at 1440p but with FSR instead of DLSS.
With DLSS i got around 60 FPS. I didn't try with Ray Tracing on.

RTX 3070 / Ryzen 9 5900X / 32.GB RAM.

May I recommend the BMW X3, a great family car with lots of boot space and plenty of power.

Yes, without RT I was able to average 90+ on high settings. I was specifically talking about RT since that was what OP was talking about.

Pretty much what I got without RT as well.

Maybe there was some kind of error that ocurred on my side only, seeing that others didnt experience the same visual effects i have.
Believe me or not, i had shadow/grass pop-ins like 5-10 metres infront of me on high. nioh 1 and 2 have the same "issue" aswell
