this will NOT be a 50 hour game lol
they said they were aiming for 15 hrs back in 2020, although by now i would say the playtime ranges from maybe 20-30 hours. i think people are overestimating how much time this is gonna take. it will not be a 50 hour game, it's not open world and the bosses are very frequent between the small areas. the game only opens up with semi open areas more towards the end.

God of War is semi-open world and takes about a little over 50 hours to GET ALL ACHIEVEMENTS. this game is smaller then GoW and even more linear.

those who think this is gonna contain tons and tons of npc quests and content, you will be disappointed. frequent bosses, minor exploration, some optional bosses and side quests. this is no dragon's dogma or elden ring size of game lol.

No Mans Sky weights 15 GB. Whats your point?

Correct. It will be a 51 hour game.

I dont know why someone would rather play a padded 50 hour game time rather then a well paced game that doesnt waste your time that will actually want to replay. So many games have 75 percent of the time you play just running around collecting useless crap. I dont know if its because of all the f2p and mobile scam games but new gen of gamers tend to equate time spent and value. To me these people just see gaming as a way to kill time like their phone and not actually to have fun. And if its about money just get something like gamepass and wait for deals. Games cost exponentially more to make and regular releases price has not increased at the sane pace so 30-50 hour great cinematic games at 60$ is not gonna happen much. I get much more enjoyment from good well balanced and paced games then all the scams with cheap gameplay and busted mechanics due to monetization. Give me a 60-80$ fun game i can replay once in a while when nothing good comes out any day above lpng open world games i cant motivate myself to finish .

I feel like the internet all of a sudden has amnesia and forgot all of the 250+ hours games that they've played in the past and still continue to play today. Meanwhile their dusty 20 hour Sony slop collects dust in the corner.

Why. What the hell makes you think you know how long this game is.

To me a single playthrough length is not important for a game like this, as I value replay ability much more (especially if your calling yourself a action RPG).

I'm personally looking at this game more like a DMC, Bayonetta, God of War (original series) style of game, where the core of the game is more linear focusing on smaller combat encounters mixed in with boss battles, some light exploration, with some light RPG systems added on.

I just fear this game will be like more recent God of War games where its more talking, cut scene, and spectacle then engrossing gameplay. Also I fear the RPG systems will be shallow to the point that all playstyles by the end of the game will be exactly the same, and the "RPG" just comes form a few stat bonuses to certain attacks/skills. I'm kind of getting tired of these action games that add "RPG" elements that are so shallow that they migh as well be call character action games like DMC, Ninja Gaiden, Bayo, GoW, MGR,...etc.

I guess we will all see in a few weeks, but personally I think the hype is too high for this game so for once I want to see a preview to at least show me what kind of game this is so I will know if its up my alley or not before dropping the cash on it. At least the devs are sticking to the 59$ price and not going the 70bucks route all AAA games have been doing recently.
