I have a 7800XT. Yeah, RT as well is a no-go. What resolution were you playing at? At 1080p to me using FSR looked worse. I imagine if you are at a higher native resolution it looked better or the same between them.
I have a 3080ti so I cannot use nvidia framegen. The reason I even ask this, AMDs frame gen has never worked that great in the past for me but in this game, TSR upscaling with framegen enabled worked very very very well.
3080ti/10700k, TSR set to 50% with FG on, I’m hitting 110-120 (probably higher but my TV maxes at 120hz/fps). Everything set to high, aside from the weeeee traversal stutter, this game runs phenomenally.
1080p, no rt, 100% scale, with frame gen, cpu is a ryzen 7 7800x3d
i get 120-124 fps on avrage
the lowest was 90 and the highest was 185
This only happen if you change the options while gaming. If you restart the game with same settings, nothing will float. It happened to me too.
