TSR works with frame generation
Typically frame generation only works with DLSS or FSR but in this game the frame generation even works with TSR, I didn't know that. When I ran the benchmark again with TSR, 100% resolution scale at 1080p with frame generation on and a 120 fps external cap with Rivatuner. I was able to maintain that framerate pretty much through the entire benchmark and TSR provided much better image stability over FSR. When I used FSR, there was noticeable ghosting with the falling leaves.

Also the in-game frame limiter did not work for me. Is that the same for anyone else? The v-sync option works but frametimes weren't as smooth.

Which GPU do you have? FSR works best for my 7900XT, but RT is off the table on that card.

TSR is an Unreal engine feature that's GPU agnostic

idk how ingame feel buut... the framegen here looked actually good and performance is veri impressive on lowend.

I have a 7800XT. Yeah, RT as well is a no-go. What resolution were you playing at? At 1080p to me using FSR looked worse. I imagine if you are at a higher native resolution it looked better or the same between them.

Does anyone know if the framegen used with TSR is AMDs frame gen or is it a separate framegen tied to the unreal engine?

I have a 3080ti so I cannot use nvidia framegen. The reason I even ask this, AMDs frame gen has never worked that great in the past for me but in this game, TSR upscaling with framegen enabled worked very very very well.

3080ti/10700k, TSR set to 50% with FG on, I’m hitting 110-120 (probably higher but my TV maxes at 120hz/fps). Everything set to high, aside from the weeeee traversal stutter, this game runs phenomenally.

I don't know if it's UE5 framegen or AMD's version but it works with FSR and TSR. It only doesn't work if you select XeSS for upscaling. Digital Foundry did a video on this game, I haven't checked it out yet but maybe they mention more details about the technical stuff.

Tsr with frame generation seems to give the best performance in terms of fps but its still a blurry game

for me on my rx7900xtx tsr looks better and get the same performance increse
1080p, no rt, 100% scale, with frame gen, cpu is a ryzen 7 7800x3d
i get 120-124 fps on avrage
the lowest was 90 and the highest was 185

On my 3080 Ti I'm currently using FSR + framegen because DLSS performance dropped in CH3 by quite a bit. Game looks noticably worse, but it was almost unplayable. Imma switch back to DLSS next chapter again.

i'm on a 3070ti with a 8700k (both overclocked) and i'm playing at 4k with everything almost on cinematic (NO RT) with TSR+Frame gen at 75%. My fps never drop from 65 fps. I've been testing different techniques (dlss, tsr, etc...). The worst in visuals and in order are: FSR, XESS, TSR/DLSS, DLAA, NATIVE. In my opinion tsr and dlss in this game looks identical... At least at 4k 75%.

TSR looks better than FSR but TSR + FG is buggy for me, health bars and stuff will float away randomly under the ground or to the side

Yea it's pretty good I straight up don't feel a input delay difference and I can't see any of the weird things frame-gen usually do with graphics the game just looks like it's running at a higher fps which is nice.

This only happen if you change the options while gaming. If you restart the game with same settings, nothing will float. It happened to me too.
