Daoist Mi is god aweful.

Did you know if you defeat the purple mountain boss before completing his quest he disappears? And not only that but it seems to me that I needed to do that to complete two armor sets that i now have to wait until new game plus to finish.

And this is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ because it's the first time I've been locked out of an area due to doing things out of order and I'm 30 hours in to the game.

On the bright side, the first NG+ is easy. You can speed run up to chapter 4 within 3-4 hours.

Daoist Mi does not grant access to armor.

To complete the armor achievement you have to play until the end of chapter 5's secret area in NG+.

My first run I got Daoist Mi but forgot about about the Scorpionlord, so I missed out on a pretty neat gourd until NG+. But then in NG+ when I got to kill him, I had the Qing-Tian Gourd which is vastly better imo, so that's a shame.

Well that's quite demotivating... Now I'm questioning whether or not to continue collecting the remaining portraits.
