At what point do you start NG+?

I've got the secret true ending and the regular ending, I don't care much for doing all the other bosses and such. Are there any important items or anything one should grab before moving into NG+? I'm indecisive on if I should dive into it but then realize I could've done something beforehand haha. Also, what armor set/weapons are you guys using if anyone here is in NG?

If you beat the main bosses in other chapters then you pretty much cannot get anything that was there anymore as a lot of side quests etc, dissapear when the main boss is killed.

So unless you did everything / explored etc, you could have missed out on transformations, spirits, boosts to stats and so on.
I am using the Monkey king set.

I have not, I didn't know this was a thing! I was wondering what those skandha were for, I'll get on that now
