Except for Fuban, Fuban was pretty fun, if easy.
How on earth does Scorpionlord lose to this guy anyway? He took me about 2 hours to beat.
iirc he also has some kind of move that spawns a patch of blood mist or somesuch which will quickly drain your hp if you stand in it, so you might wanna keep an eye on your hp bar in 2nd phase if you see mist somewhat thickens in a small radius around him.
Staff spin for projectile attacks as always. I guess perfect his 1st phase and don't get hit there at all so you have more "time" to play with his 2nd phase.
That aside - did you try scorpionlord? I killed duskveil in 3 tries, but scorpion stalled me for 2 whole days...
1. Learn to time the dodge. Ok, you can watch hundreds of Youtube videos how to beat certain boss. But at the end of the day, you are playing, at that moment, in that mind. Trust me, I learnt it the hard way. I mean, when you play, in your game, the outcome is always slightly different. It will NOT be exactly the same as in the video that you have chosen to follow. So, as a result, you have to learn how you, YOURSELF, react to the move, or rather, the animation you see in front of you. If you fail this time, take a deep breath, cool it. Then try again. If you find yourself having trouble with a particular attack by the boss, count the timing by saying something like "one thousand and one", "one thousand and two", etc.. in normal speaking peace. Do learn to spot which move has a delay attack window. You know, like the boss swing its arm or weapon but not starting to hit. Things like that. But to do this, you need to find a way to maintain being "cool" so you can see and think clear. It takes a bit of practice and a lot of self-control.
2. Unlike Sekiro, if you find yourself really stuck or not in the right mind to carry on fighting, you can leave the combat as you are usually respawned at the shrink. If not, using your thingy to go back to the last shrink you have been to. Once you leave the combat, go and FARM XP. I know, this can be boring but using the extra sparks that you have earned from farming, you can increase your health or/and damage you deal, let alone more skills to use.
Duskveil is hard because it can move out of its position at the last minute so your charged up slam will miss. It has nothing to do with the hit box. The hit box is the same but because it moves away, you cannot hit it. From videos I watched on Youtube, I learnt that in the 1st phase, try not to use your mana, i.e. minimize using any of your spells. Try and stay close to its feet and hit its legs. Oh, one important thing that you have to learn. DO NOT SMASH the attack button. Try to press it with deliberate rhythm. Or put it this way, whenever you press the attack button, count "ONE", then press the attack button. The split second where you count "ONE", learn to substitue with pressing the dodge button. You see, if you mash the attack button, all the attack commands will be entered into a "queue". And then you spot its attack, obviously, you will press the dodge button. But since you have already "entered" a chain of attack commands, the dodge command will be added to the queue. As a result, no dodge and you got hit. It may help if you only chained 3 attacks in a sequence unless you are sure that the enemy is not going to attack. This require "experience" from learning the enemy's moves.
Hope this help. Good luck and have fun :)
i used the maxed out ring of fire (exept for the last perk) and pillar stance with the golden loong staff.
the first phase is easy so save your mana. in 2nd phase just cast ring of fire and and charge your pillar heavy. when he finishes jumping around, hit him.
