Game won't launch

I've been troubleshooting the game failing to launch off and on for the last day or so. It looks like it's trying to launch, says it's running for about 5-10 seconds, and closes like nothing had happened. I've tried running the game & steam as admin, reinstalling multiple times, validating game files, enabling compatibility mode, running default bios settings, ensuring the game is not blocked by my antivirus/firewall, updating and rolling back driver updates. I've tried everything I could think of besides a clean windows install. The game was running great for the 10ish hours I could play it for a few days ago. Really not sure why I can't launch it now. I wanna play monke game

*update - I executed the integrity verification and 8 errors was found, then reinstalled. Now its working.

Denuvo is blocking your game from running.
The only thing you can do now is wait till the next day.

Denuvo implemented games rely on 3rd party DRM server to generate authorization tokens in order for the games to be launchable(forced online authorization). These tokens are expirable and can be break under circumstances(reinstalling/update OS/driver,switching Proton(Linux), changing hardware) render the games useless.
The tokens won't be automatically acquired by themselves, you need to launch the games in online mode for them to be acquired.
The tokens can only be acquired for a limited number of times(usually 5)per 24 hours, once you reach the limit for whatever reason, you will be blocked out of your games, and will need to wait until the next day to be able to "activate" the game again.You need to ask for permission to play the game you paid for.
You can play Denuvo implemented games in offline mode, but it won't be indefinitely.
In fact you can't play the games at all if there's no token or for some reason it's cannot a token(server outage) regardless of whether you're online or offline.
Denuvo can also randomly crap out like that and prevent you from playing.

I did end up getting the game to run after backing all of my files up and reinstalling Windows. It was frustrating to do but the game has been running flawlessly since then.

So is that the solution then? I personally have been struggling to get the game to launch today, after having put 12 hours into it running flawlessly over the last couple weeks.

It might be unfortunately. I tried literally everything before that though. Waiting for an update to rollout to fix the issue might be a more sensible option but I'm not a very patient person tbh. Hoping you guys can find a solution that works for you.
