Question about the religion in the game
So, it seems like the religion we are talkin about here is Buddhism, but to me, even in the first cutscene of the game, when he flies on the nimbus the music sounds awefully indian, idk maybe i'm wrong! also... the names of some places sound indian to me! what am i missing? cuz i feel like i'm missing alot!

That song doesn't sound Indian at all to me.

That being said, the Journey to the West novel, and the historical events it has some connection to, are about a journey to India I believe. And possibly partly set in India.

Buddhism originated in India.

Buddhism comes from India, so it's not strange that there's a lot of musical cues and artwork that is inspired by India.

The game and the book it's based on is inspired not just by Buddhism, but also by folklore and folk religions with all the animal spirits and creatures.

♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ it kids. Mythology is also no religion. It's folklore that is passed down by worth of mouth over generations. Like kid's stories parents told their children so they don't talk to strangers. If you weren't aware the are original versions of the kid's stories in the west and most of them are insanely ♥♥♥♥♥♥ up and will teach children to never talk to strangers. Disney just changed them to make money off of it.

Generally that's how, yes. Reports. I've seen Noop being a jerk in at least one other discussion too, so he probably got himself multiple reports.

I'll always support bans lmao. If people can't be civil, I don't want to hear their drivel.

The way we understand nations is a fairly modern conception. People have been separated from their neighbours by drawing artificial lines around the globe. If you lived 10 miles from your nearest friends one day, you may be declared mortal enemies the next, because some tyrant decided to draw a line in the sand between you, and forced you to fight, by giving you nowhere else to go.

Religion is culture, which is how one may rally a nation. I'm not getting political, just pointing out how people are used as tools, but the culture can still remain on either side of a border, so long as there are people that remain to tell the tales. Buddhism isn't tied to a nation, it's all about a culture, which can born from several of the nations we recognise today. It's more about familiarity than which flag you're expected to tie yourself to the mast with.
