Chapter 3 easily has one of the most unfun bosses so far (yes spoilers)
The dragon boss on the ice lake. The camera, the annoying wiggeling he's doing while only having one or two parts to hit while he's literally moving, not having proper air combat in any sort of way and the weird delays on some of his attacks that slows everything down?

Jesus what a horribly designed boss.

Yes, it's worse than any camera boss I fought in Elden Ring.

I first tried it just now on the PS5, the camera does have issue with locking on to it I admit, but I found its moves have pretty long wind up animation so pretty easy to dodge at least.

I complained about him only this morning.
I got a lot of good suggestions (using the wind-chime to stun, using the pillar stance)

I agree, its a major flaw.
Unlucky for me that i did the dragon, the turtle dragon, the weak dragon and the bat budha in about 3 hours. It was making me angry how bad the camera was acting and that most times i would miss all my attacks or couldnt attack because the boss was flying.
I hope the devs are still working on fixes

I don't know how much of chapter three you've completed, but pretty much the entirety of it is a slog, bosses do become better though.

Nah he's great, albeit a bit annoying because the devs don't spoonfood players with large hitboxes that would allow you to hit the dragon while swinging underneath his body The dragon can be staggered and knocked down, and then immobilized to extend the attack window. Heavy attacks have a higher reach and can hit him in the head in order to knock him down.

I don't have an issue if it only has certain parts you can target, it's more of the combination of things that make it irritating.

I know you can knock it down, like I said it's more of the combination of things that make it annoying. If that was all but the rest ''worked'' fine then I don't think he would've been as annoying as he is.
I had the same issue. I recommend turning off auto-lock on attack in settings. And do not lock on. Play freestyle and you will have a much easier time landing hits and dodging attacks. This tip works for any large bosses that have super janky hit boxes.

This is funny to me, I was thinking it was one of my favorite fights, as it wasn't the usual "Hey Im a dragon who can fly but like in every other video game I am going to land so you wail on me" BS that Elden Ring (minus the epic Bayle fight) and SKyrim/Dragon Age been doing forever.

YOU GOTTA CHANGE TACTICS, REFUNDING IS FREE. I smoked him 2nd try switching stances (news flash we got one we can stand on 30 feet in the air to wack his ass) and USE YOUR SUMMON ITS OP.

Not talking flaming spear guy either, their are many summons that are OP AF. I wont spoil but I got a blocking giant Tiger one that is built for bosses as he has a block function that builds up focus for huge dps attacks.

I am almost in chapter 6 and the games bosses are all really balanced, none are over powered with the right techniques.

well i do agree that chapter 3 bosses are kinda unfun, simply because they are annoying to fight, no thanks to their gimmick, but they arent difficult bosses

the 1st boss like to hover just out of reach
the 2nd boss is a bullet sponge
the 3rd boss just want to play tag
the final boss literally wears a super armor to fight you.

however, non of them have difficult moveset nor have incredible attack speed, especially the 3rd boss, her attack just look intimidating, but its just all bark, no bite.

I have to admit it was an annoying fight. Mostly because of the camera angles/shifts during her attacks. You kinda have to keep targeting and untargeting her. Hitting her is much easier unlocked but following her whipping around almost requires lock on to you have to keep quickly changing between the two which is further exacerbated by the enemy character model being largely the same color as the target reticle. At the least her hitboxes need to be expanded by quite a bit. Even quick thrust stance attacks whiffed most of the time and they have the best range/tracking.
