Continous stick drift
Has anyone experienced this issue whilst using a PS5 controller? I have enabled steam input, and everything seems to be in order. However, I cannot stop this constant stick drift to the left whilst in-game.

I was recently playing RE4 - Remake with the controller and did not experience this issue. I suspect this is an issue isolated to Wukong: Black Myth.

Hopeful someone can assist with this.

I have the same problem. I tried in Elden Ring and Dark Souls and it didn't happen. It doesn't really break the game or anything but it's annoying when I want to take a break after death and my char moves left while I'm away.

This is common gamepad issue - it's existed since the dawn of time in all of them, no matter if it's xbox or ps controllers. The only thing to do is RMA it, if still under warranty.
The reason why it happens in some games, while not in others is, because in some games the inputs are set to be more sensitive so when it's below that certain threshold it own't drift.

To give you an example i had zero drift in spider-man remastered but when i turned on cyberpunk instant drift, as in cyberpunk the controls are more sensitive, i bought new gamepad and problem solved instantly.
You can check here if you got drift:

In my 10 something years using PS controllers I genuinely feel like its the controller.

PlayStation controls are already pretty notorious for their drifting after sometime. I had to replace them almost every year because something always breaks down mostly the sticks.

Back in pandemia i had Dualshock 4 that didn't last 3 weeks before it started to drift and i had to RMA it xD

This is exactly the only time I ever purchase a warranty....these blasted controllers are way too much work when it comes to manually fixing the issue, easier to just get a new one.

I have 3 dualsenses and 2 of them have stick drift, it'll be the controller. I usually increase the deadzone with ds4windows if it's an issue but I assume you can do it with steam input settings too.

Like Ichi-niiPL said some games will just be tuned more sensitively and that's why it's not noticeable on all games.

I've bought a lot of ps4 controller over the span of years from various stores. The only one that ever lasted past a year was the one my PS4 came with that lasted nearly 3 years with intense usage. Every replacement I've had since then lasted a year at most with limited use.

Interesting response... I always thought that stick drift was not caused due to hardware issues. But I am trying my spare PS5 controller and will see if that helps.
