just one shot everything with spell binder. once you get that in act 3 game is ez pz
Before that pluck of the many will carry everything.
Oh and humble brag, I first tried him. His attack is very slow with big wind-up, the lightning on the ground part you just keep dodging. I might have gotten lucky but he kinda just... died.
The dragon is fine. Eat a shock pellet and the paralysis is non existent.
If you need more defence. Just kill 'elite' enemies in the Sand place. They drop mindcores to upgrade your defence.
This boss telegraphs it's attacks most of the time.
Yeah the grab can be kind of annoying.
Make sure to respect your points into what ever stance you are using completely.
For me he was spamming his right paw flash and tail hit without ever touching the ground plus two grabs to top it off.
On the videos I've watched he did it a couple of times only.
That's bloody random and I'm not lucky with random.
My problem isn't the "difficulty". It's the untouchable enemy in the air. I'm fine with anything else than that.
you can also knock the dragon from the sky if you hit it's head enough time, so in a way, this is a monster hunter boss...
IMO, none of the boss in chapter 3 is harder than the boss in chapter 2, you beat chapter 2 boss, so you shouldnt have problem with any of the chapter 3 bosses...
What paralysis? He only got me trough the grabs. He barely hit me otherwise (hence the 5 minutes). If only he went down for long enough for me to hit him more ...
I'm fully invested in the first stance. (Smash?)
Looking at videos it appears I got a randomly broken fight as he acted very differently against me. I guess I'll try again. Maybe I need to respect in pole ... does that hit higher?
He's slow, that's why I lasted 5 minutes (until the bastard grabbed me).
The hovering part is was annoys me. I can dodge all I want, if it takes 25 minutes (extrapolating from 5 minutes/ one fifth of his life) I'm not doing it.
I'll try again later.
oh, if you feel this way about the dragon hovering, you gotta love the pagoda realm =D
I like fights where ... I fight.
Not dances where I have to patiently wait for my turn to act.
PIllar stance wrecks loongs.
yeah, pagoda realm is design with annoying in mind it seems, you'll know what i'm talking about once you reach there...
and the boss at the top, more or less similar to white dragon boss, the only different, it trade hovering with bullet sponge... and the boss can actually OHKO you with a grab... but luckily, the grab is very easy to beat when compare to white dragon as you just need to dodge toward the boss to get behind it and the grab will never hit you.
You've got a lot at your disposal to help close that gap.
Cloud Step spell + light attack.
Immobilize spell.
Using the Wind Tamer Vessel can actually knock enemies down or stagger them.
All three stances have some range on their charged attacks. Plus there's jump attacks, especially jump heavy attacks.
Unless you're somehow NEVER getting hear the boss even once, the Wandering Wight spirit is also good for knocking enemies around.
The boss doesn't have too many attacks either. Dodge around them and hit when you can.
Don't know what else to say other than maybe change up your strategy. Or just take a break for the day and come back to it fresh.
EDIT: Your clones can also get some hits in. And the light attack sequence for Smash stance is good.
If you're talking about who I think you're talking about, that boss is at least optional.
I'd suggest watching a guide on YouTube. But once you own this boss it's a good feeling. Later bosses feel a lot more rewarding obviously, but you always remember your first.
