I FELL OFF MOUNT HUAGUO AND IT WONT LET ME BACK UP

*spoilers* once i beat the first boss of chapter 6 it showed me the cutscene and gave the ability to use my flying nimbus. problem is i fell off right after the cutscene and in doing so it teleported me back to the previous shrine, now with the boss beaten i can no longer activate the cutscene to get on top of mount huaguo but because i can only use the flying nimbus at mount huaguo it also wont let me use that in doing so i am stuck trying to find a path to the top of mount huaguo and i cant seem to find any or use the ability which looks to me like a glitch that leaves me unable to progress the game any further

Find save files folder on your PC & reload a previous checkpoint. There are easy instructions to find where BMW stores save files on your system.

any other alternatives? this just happened to me and i have no idea how to progress. the files thing isn't working either.

Copying from one of the older save back-ups worked for me. When you go into the saved file folder, there should be a subfolder (mine was a sting of numbers) that contains your 3 save files and the steam backup file. I made sure to delete all 4 files before copying back in one of the set of 3 from the backup folders.

Have to go through the supreme one fight again but... I guess loss of progress is better then loss of ability to finish the game..... I guess. xD

*Actually* looks like you can just get back to the area from the supreme dude's fight ground by using the nimbus cloud. Keyed to down arrow on the controller by default.
