I think the other guy is right - you're 'allowed' post cheat links - but just in case, I've posted the google suggestion that'll lead people there instead...
1. Defence multiplier: 2
2. Damage multiplier: 1.5
With the above, I die about as much times as I used to in God of War, still need to concentrate on what's going on but don't need to repeat the same mindless boss fight 20 times to 'learn' the correct way to beat it.
That's a no-way, not-a-hope at this point in my life/career. As in, for sure there are people who are substituting this thing for a real job, and are putting all their energy into what's a computer game.
If there's no financial reward for the additional stress/effort - there'll be no investment from me.
Overall, I realise that although this is a well-made game, the genre is frankly loathsome. Chapter 2 has been a joyless, miserable trek through a rocky nothingness, with tedious rock creatures around every corner (or if you're lucky, the cheap-shot archer variants).
And nothing else. No story, no breakage in the monotony.
I think about the exercise this thing gave my brain - effectively twitch reflexes with a controller. And I'm struggling to find any intelligence in the hand-eye-yakkity-yak of it all.
Anyway, it's better than everything else that was released this arid gaming year. So I don't regret the spend.

Add in a slick, painless UI for the 'cheats' (just press play and then tweak) and this thing is the way to go for games like this.
P/S I'll probably make one myself later especially for NG+. Currently I'm playing this game on steam deck which is not quite sophisticated for modding work.
====== EDIT ======
Setting aside stat mods, the "better roll" mod currently on nexusmods can also greatly reduce the difficulty. This mod allows spam roll, eliminating the requirement for timing enemies' attacks. As a result you can focus on finding attack windows to grind down boss' health without worrying about most of their attacks. You'll be still required to learn some boss' special counter mechanics to progress. It's like transforming an ACT game into a casual puzzle game.
WeMod seems to have a very high trust rating re: potential 'intrusiveness'. Outside of that, it's very, very well-made.
If you're going to create a 'god of war' mod though, you really only need to tweak the above two stats and everything else just falls into place.
Issue with the base game (IMO) is damage-sponge enemies and the 'glass cannon' MC.
Also, it seems the real trick to winning is combo-combo-combo and then unleash the built-up-thing (focus).
Issue being it should be better-telegraphed with some glow effect etc that you've got some charge to expend and so on.
But either way, I watch it all with mild amusement and low-key disinterest - amazingly crafted game, with some exceptionally bleak cutscenes (the rat monster eating its own father)... But otherwise, not my jam.
Yeah I feel bad about that.
At least I'm great at making cash from my business.
Cheers
After checking on that app, I am going to be trying it for sure with this game.
I feel the same way as you. I'm attracted to this game because of the visual quality, the music, the story. I think it's a different and refreshing ip. And all of its aspects will contribute to an impeccable immersion, at least in my case I think so. But I have no interest in the challenge behind the difficulty. In the end it's just about numbers. The amount of damage you take and the amount of damage you can do. And we can modify those number with Wemod or other apps out there. To be honest, I would like the developers to understand that these apps will become more and more popular and that many users will end up using them. If the developers refuse to include difficulty modes, someone else is already doing it for them. And also making a business in the process.
Reason number one for me to get this game on sales. Because if I am going to be also paying for another product in order to enjoy the game on my terms, then I am not paying full price for the game.
While I usually don't agree to these mods when it regarding multiplayer, I agree with what you posted here and thank you. I was stuck at one point, and yes I want a challenge but not something which I'll have to repeat myself 20+ times. Damage multiplier, just a little makes all the difference...Still die, but I have a better fighting chance. :)
