Persistent crashing in the desert area of act 2
Much of it happened in the rat village, but somehow managed to proceed without crashing once. Unfortunately, after defeating the tiger boss in the temple, I'm experiencing more crashes and it's happening way more often.

I'm using a Ryzen 7 5800X3D, 32GB RAM, and an RTX 4080 Super.

The game runs a rock solid 60fps once the shaders compile, and there were 0 crashes throughout the prologue and act 1, but act 2 seems to be a crash magnet. Has anyone else experienced this?

I'm starting to notice a pattern. The game was running perfect for me til I defeated the Wright boss then it crashed. I notice other people are mentioning defeating different bosses and crashing starts after X boss is defeated. I don't get what is causing this.

Have you verified file integrity? Almost 50 hours in and I have one single random crash
I have watched few videos and "woke reviews" they all claim crashes during act II and after I can tell you that. If your crashing then mostly is something is wrong with your computer. (Also most review claim they have 4090 and they said horrible performance) I got one and many others like me have a 4090 only woke political driven reviewers has issue. So all I can advice you to is check your bios run win11 24h2 and upgrade install windows (aka keep all your files) while fresh-install chip-set driver from AMD.

This may have been it. I'm past the parts where I was crashing (it was happening consistently in one specific area of the rat village, and one specific area right after the tiger boss in the temple), but I did have a couple of files that failed to validate, so that may have been the cause.

So far, I haven't crashed today. So now it's back to steadily progressing through chapter 2.

Edit: Bleh, never mind. I just crashed again during the Gore Eyed Daoist fight.

I finished chapter 2, and am at the end boss of chapter 3, no crashes since leaving the desert.

The issue seemed to be primarily isolated to the desert and nowhere else. No clue as to why.
