I don't feel I am close to beating White Clad Noble yet

Have been stuck there for 2 days. I can get to second phase but usually with little healing left and already used immobilize and Red Tides a couple of times. Frustrating. He is very fast and dodging is a hit and miss for me. Seems there is like a 1/10 of a second space in there where you have to dodge.

Here's what you do, practice breaking him down to half life using little magic as possible, then head back to where you entered the area during his second phase. If you can trap him in the outcrop of rocks near the water (which forms a small alcove), he is easy to avoid and hit till you finish him off.

Edit the pilgrim gear (mask, robes, wrist guards and leggings) is needed to be effective at dealing with him. Also allocate points to the different staff stances (thrust in particular is useful).

The smash stance "double donk" move is your best friend for all the fights zbh.
Build up focus, hit hard, keep some spells for the end when you feel the fight is going well and you're done.

After spending 2 days on him I'd say this. Come out the gate with immobilize. And immediately use Red Tides and just spam the heavy attack with it. Then just stay in his face the whole time and save everything else until the second phase. IF you get there without healing then just pray.

so one issue i have with this game is that alot if not all the bosses are input reads, so all i did was bait him in with useless inputs, hold rt or do 1 light attack, he will then think he is in danger and start making moves, you can test this by just walking round the arena and you will see he will hardly make any moves until you do. the big baby that bonks with the head is a gamechanger for majority of the game so use that. whiteclad noble has more sophisticated moveset in phase 1 but it also lets you be more aggressive, or atleast i was able to be more aggressive. phase 2 is very basic, but be warned he heals himself when below 50%, its a passive ability so u have to be sure to out damage it. his spear charge has a decent wind up but very quick launch, be sure to time it right as its high damage.

i had to memorize his pattern to the point i was dodging automatically, he was quite challenging don't give up Monkey.

i use jump light kick on him, he doesnt respond if u stay out of range. when he start chasing me with spin and charge slash, i run jump backward and use heavy air strike to land on him.

thats how i save all my hp mana and skills for 2nd phase

2nd phase just run far away and wait for him to show a stance before charge slash( dodge this slash and u get to do combo on him.)

3rd and 4th parts of light attack combo get you stuck in a fairly long animation lock. Avoid them in this fight unless he is staggered or frozen somehow. I stopped using heavy attacks unless he was staggered as well because otherwise most of them will whiff even with perfect timing because of how he moves.

Bro if you cant beat that little emo dude, i recommend you to move on another game since the game will crush you latter even hardest. Is ok to deal with skill issues, maybe try a more easy game and dont jump into hype wagon when a new game come out.

2 days?? ima have to agree with the other guy, maybe this game just isnt for you, not saying it to be mean but you just won't be able to beat any harder bosses at this rate

the first page of skillset, the 2nd row 2nd skill is the one that increase ur dodge window if i recomember correctly

theres also skills/equipment that increase ur counter attack's i frames but it comes later

also equipment for shorter cd on invisibility spell

That's the point about me I think: this game is not for me. I love Souls like, but I feel completely excluded from this game. The white guy is a wall I can't pass through, and after three days trying, I will stop playing, sadly, cause I'm not having fun any more...

He is a PITA but you can beat him. Heavies whiff a lot unless he is staggered and i'd stay away from the 3rd and 4th (spinny bits) parts of the light combo unless he is staggered as well because they animation lock you and you can't dodge out of it.

You've to be doing something wrong lol, it took me like 5 tries to kill this guy. (this is not bragging, i'm genuinely surprised to see people struggle with this guy)
I can recommend early on there's a talent in foundations that's the best one ingame, when doing combo and you are say at third attack you dodge and then attack again you attack with forth attack of the combo, instead of starting over.
Also make sure to use spirit and spells during the fight. And charged up heavy attacks from first stance those are brutal dmg. I recommend keeping transformation and spells for phase 2. Also you might try this if you need cheese:
