Rx 6700xt graphic card, which settings are you playin this game on?
FSR on high-cinematic settings with 75% upscaling still looks very muddy and weird with image artifacts. It looks way worse than DLSS.

Which graphic settings are you guys playing on? can you get the image to look clear? thanks!

i think u can turn off nvidia ray tracing, limit to 60fps

everything else should be able to run on "very high or cinematic" setting

I did that. if everything on cinematic I get 40 fps. But problem is that the game doesnt look well with FSR with a lot of image artifacts. The waters are muddy and textures too.

I have a rtx 4060m laptop (which is less powerful) but running with DLSS it looks a lot better and more optimized.

yea 4000 series card shines with DLSS + ray tracing + lumens setting all combined.

rumor says. nvidia make extra effect to work with game science recently XD.

DLSS kinda doesn't look the best on this game either, usually I can't tell difference with dlss quality at 4k compared to native but on this game clearly see even with dlss quality at 4k, maybe needs updated version of fsr / dlss?

Everything on high
FSR quality 100
frame generation off

Try the benchmark ingame option. You will see what parameters it shows.

What resolution are you playing tjis on? I tried FSR 100 just now with Frame Gen off and everything on high, im getting 30ish frames on 3440x1440 resolution

I put post-effects, shadow quality, global illumination and reflection to medium. Everything else to high. Upscale settings same as yours, and resolution 1440p. You can go higher, but I like my fps and the game looks fine to me.

are you guys seeing weird rendering waters and image artifacts?
pwnz0r3d Aug 26, 2024 @ 5:57am
Nothing I've noticed no. I'll add that I'm running the 24.7.1 drivers. There's a newer non-whql driver out (24.10.37.04) you could try as well.

after i watched some of the utube testing. i think i know how to get slightly better game feel out of my 3060ti now.

1 click recommended setting, then turn off nvidia ray tracing.
2 set everything to mid
3 change 4 of the lighting related setting to cinematic, rest of them on mid or high

i also use msi afterburner to undervolt gpu boost clock speed / monitor gpu temperature /fan control
i think the gpu might overheat under certain scene i have to make sure it doesnt go above 85c with 50% fan speed
