Not really a fan of this RPG mechanics and never had play any Dragon Age, Skyrim series or the Witcher series... I felt too overwhelm learning all the item slots, damage points, critical points and etc that makes me quit the game after few hours of gameplay... but i believe for people who likes Baldur's Gate 3 will probably enjoy this..

Its not a united fanbase of a classic game like Baldurs Gate. People who liked DAO don't necessarily like the subsequent games. And this new one looks like a real pile of crap.

Doesn't matter, the split fan base of each individual game will be interested in a new game regardless, specially since Larian already have their own established fanbase, which is bigger than ever now.

I don't know if Larian has any interest on the IP, but from a business perspective it would surely be beneficial to them.

PS - If the new game looks like crap it's irrelevant too since we are talking of a theoretical Larian game.

Dragon Age, this? Where? This is so boring, so boring, it's embarrassing. Bad character design, very cartoony, looks like Amalur or Maybe a Looney Toons + fortninite game. COMbat feels clumsy and unmotivated. Every time you have to freeze the screen to release a skill, imagine that until the end of the game how boring it will be and frustrating.
The female characters are all ugly and with Chad's big chin, ugly armor and too much Colored looks like some kind of children toys!
Also dont forget about the tons of Woke that Corinne Busche promised as a Magnum Opus of this title.
This game was born a failure, and like all other Woke games, it will sell less than an umbrella on a sunny day.
And they already left a warning, don't you dare go to their discussion page and say that the game is Woke, they banned me permanently for saying that. They make a Woke game, but they are ashamed of what they do, and they still want you to "BUY" without saying anything. Failed game!

The high level combat video for Veilguard certainly looks better than the initial video BioWare put out, but even on its best day, the Dragon Age franchise couldn't match the sales and player count of a game that hit as big as Wukong has. China's just too big a market, and I doubt Veilguard is going to tap into it to nearly the same extent this game has.

Yep, the combat really looks exciting, I just hope the story doesn't suck, gameplay was never the problem I had with the previous games.

Not gonna lie, but that trailer for Dragon Age doesn't look good to me.

Granted, it is the only gameplay I've seen of the game so maybe some other builds/playstyles might appeal more but in general that looks pretty bland like a old school simple MMORPG with weak action elements.

Wukong looks way better, though Final Fantasy XVI is the one I'm really looking forward to (granted I wont get my hopes up since opinions are quite strong on both ends of the spectrum for that game so we'll see...).

Obvious troll post. Wukong is riding a wave of success from it's apparent rejection of SBI... while the new Dragon Age is being torched precisely for it's apparent "wokeness" and watered down stylization and tone.
