Now with updates and DLC, it's pretty friggin' kino.
I actually like it. I loved Nioh 1 and 2, though. Wo long is different, but also samey. I thought the boss battles were really fun and exhilarating, especially as you can parry and counter all the big moves, and they also tend to be spectacular. So it's more like Sekiro in several ways, but you have all these different weapon types and skills and moves you can unlock to make a build of your desire, much like Nioh.
It's honestly not on the level of Nioh, but I thought it was great. I enjoyed it, and Team Ninja doesn't really play around, they do deliver consistently.
I'm not a fan of Nioh likes tho
It's kind of a rough diamond but when it clicks it feels really good and the bosses are really good.
I didn't like the nerf though. They made the parry way way more forgiving and that was a mistake.
Not as good as Wukong in my opinion but still fun.
