Black Wind King boss tips
This is the first boss that really is giving me some problems. The hit boxes seem really bad and I just cannot seem to really figure out a strategy here. Do i have to just dodge until he is becomes visible, get a quick hit or two then bounce around? His combos are very long and he is hardly still at all. I can get the R+L trigger head bonk hit in the beginning and seem to utilize immobility well but the transformation staff barely can land two hits and is a waste. Also what level roughly were you around this part of the game which I still think is Chapter 1? I assume it's gotta be near the end of chapter 1?

Just a single bump to try to get any tips for this boss. The post gets hidden pretty quickly due to forum activity. Thanks

Honestly, if you are struggling just keep running around and dodging and wait for him to do his main dodge.

Human form -> When he goes invis and does the mini earthquake in the middle, just chill until this happens then just go on his ass when he lands.

Bear form -> Same thing really, wait for him to start an attack (Typically the big jump) and when he lands dodge and you'll have a good amount of time to attack.
This was tough for me tbf even with the fire mantle (I suck) :)

For me, there are 3 approaches to a fight this early:
- Dodging
- Charging heavies on pole form (vertical)
- Resolute strike (Heavy parry from light combos)

I didn't have pole form and I absolutely suck at resolute strike at the moment, so dodging was the main way for me :|

Take it slow and don't rush, if you mess up your range or punish don't greed and just wait for the next oppurtunity.

I'm pretty sure in chapter 2 the game opens up a bit more and you can use more skills etc.

Use Cloud Walker to get a few decent hits in+avoid some of his tougher attacks.

i use level 3 charged smash attack. i think it does like 300-400 dmg per hit
and use fire blade + immobilize a the 1/2 to 1/3 hp mark

dodge the invisible wind is hard, since it trigger hits instantly when u are close to it.
so dodge away and click when u see the sonic boom

Thanks, I appreciate the detailed posts you wrote. Am I getting close to chapter 2? I'm level 29 currently and don't know if I should try to level up a bit more. This is the first stuck point I hit with this game. I'll try your suggestions.

Also thanks to the other people who responded, I appreciate it. Gonna get back to it.
