Some chapters are GIGANTIC, no map???
It wouldn't hurt to put a nice interactive map in your game, with a tiny monke avatar that shows where I am on the map, and which part of the map I haven't explored yet.

Oh wow that is pretty cool, the game definitely would benefit from a map in parts, I am embarrassed to admit I have got quite lost twice now. Some areas it can be very hard to know where you have already been etc

Yeah, as a souls vet you get used to not having a map but here a lot of stuff looks the same. Most paths lead back to another path like someone above said - but still.

The map is quite cool - but a little cheat-y since it shows items and enemies too.

I'm in Act 4 now, I hear it's pretty straight forward the last few acts. We'll see.
Chapter 6 will be atrocious again. It's like the Cerulean Coast in Elden Ring. Way too little stuff for it's size.

use your monkey instinct to find the way

Chapter 3 I think is the worst I've heard. Didn't have a problem with chapter 1 and 2 though, and I can't find my own way out of a paper bag.

Yeah it is chapter 3 for sure, it is absolutely massive for a non open world game and I admit I got lost a couple of times as I just could not figure out where to go vs where I had been. Plus you sometimes get multiple paths at a point and trying to remember where how to get back to that fork in the road again after taking one side can be a bit difficult.

I got through it in the end but the level took me a lot longer than it probably should have

It wouldn't be so bad if areas weren't so massive and running around feels so slow (Thunderclap temple why is it so big)
You don't know the suffering of trying to find your way until you reach Chapter 6...

Ya act 3 and act 4 are really tedious to fully explore, I actually wish the game was more linear. open world just = bloat.

I actually got a bit lost in chapter 6 for a while too, there is no real indication of where you are meant to go and it was just a case of going everywhere and picking off every random boss until I finally triggered a cutscene that moved the game on
