Chapter 4 story question. Spoiler Warning for Chapter 4 and 6

So in chapter 4 you meet the Spider Lady wearing black I believe is the 3rd or 4th sister. She saves you on multiple occasion but she is no where in view when you fight the final boss. I got all the Talisman and had to fight the red hand so when I saw the same boss again in chapter 6 I thought it was going to have some sort of closure. Anyone knows what happen to her?

Its the 4th sister, and based on the events, i belive she get taken by the Crane Immortal, soon after she rescue you from falling.

As the moment you are close to the last talisman, you hear her yell "Run" like she was captured, and she is nowhere to be seen.

Also this is the dialog from Crane Immortal, after the fight.

"Stop! Spare his Life."

"Foul monkey. No matter how many times you reincarnate, you're still blind to the ways of this World."

"Now, in your folly, you've hindered the dealings of the Court."

"But above that, you've given a girl who knows no limits a false hope."

*laughs*

"I shall transform her into a Mighty golden pill and keep it safe for you."

"Think about her, won't you? Should you feel like stirring trouble in your next Life."

// It feels like her "side story" and another NPC later in the story, both have this cut ending feeling. Hopefully they could improve this with updates if they want. Seen other games do this, but dont have my hopes up to much on that.

UPDATE: Also im pretty sure that If you complete the quest, complete the chapter and go back, close to the painting to enter secret area. At the big tree its a new box with loot, that isnt there otherwise. Its my 2nd run, so Maybe it was a pill inside?

Yes, after you defeat the chapter's final boss, return to the map and go behind that tree, you will find a box near the stone picture posted above :) The stone and all that is not there initially because that was set up there as an offering or tombstone to the lady who was killed by the boss. So it's there only after you defeat the boss

holy heck that update is a good catch. I did also feel like the story kinda ended absurdity with her. Given the devs saying they originally planned on more chapter but had to cut back maybe she would be flushed out in a future update.

before you fight chap 4's final boss, you can actually meet the a boss that captures her. (who you will defeat at the beginning of chap 6)

That explains why there are some quests, that ends in the way they do. If they had to cut back becouse of time. I really hope they will let us see the full vision, even if its at a later date.
