Fine gold thread farm?
Anyone know if this is farmable or is it finite per playthrough?

What's the point having the recipes to upgrade armor then ? Can't even upgrade just one if I don't know where / when I'll find them next, IF I have not already all of them...

Fine Gold Thread is finite resource, similar to all other special crafting materials. You will get enough to upgrade 1 armor set for sure. There are few more but I never bothered with upgrading anything else so I'm not sure how many exactly. It is definitely not possible to upgrade all or even most in single playthrough.

There are like 14 to i believe 16 locations you can find them. on some spots you get 2 at once. i think you can upgrade more than one set fully before ending a playtrough
