so Ma Tianbi will forever be stuck at the rat village tied to a pole? I wish the guide I was following was more forewarning about that. I'm up to chapter 5 and I PASSED him an earlier chapter when trying to do some quest to fight Mad Tiger, but I couldn't find him despite him talking as I assume he was in the well, not the pole.

Almost couldn't find the hat guy in the snow mountains either even though I could hear him...

I repeatedly talked to the horse in Chapter 2 and he didn't say anything new--then I got to Chapter 3 and he's not there. I think he's bugged.
