edit:
You've learned about it because others have found it one way or another. So it's obviously possible to learn about it.
You would know if you didnt just skip things or not pay attention.
Here is a tip: there are a few more secrets that are being mentioned in cutscenes and dialogs.
I bet that some people got lucky with the boss and he broke the wall, then they made that information available on the Internet and people found out that you could also destroy it with certain attacks. What I want to know is if there are reasonable hints in game so you can figure it out on your own if the boss didn't break the wall. Or if it is just some ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ design.
This game requires nuance & lots of reading if you want to fully unlock/experience it. What’s funny is this game in terms of how it obscures some content behind reading about it, listening to NPCs etc. is no different than other games like Elden Ring (the dreaded comparison). Yet people praise that game for it’s obscurity but complain here. That is hypocritical or just plain bias unmasked.
Then you have those complaining this game is too simple, too straight forward. But when you tell them most of the game requires exploration, piecing together story, subtext, etc. they complain the game is too hard or not intuitive to follow when it’s literally worse in Elden Ring…
You literally agreed with me and then called me a hypocrite lol
Another person who didn't understand what I said lol
I have no idea how that helps anyone to hit a seemingly random wall with a special attack to uncover a secret though.
For the record I'm not a fan of Elden Rings (and Dark Souls) obscure storytelling. But the games have limited player messages to help you find stuff, like hidden pathways. Wukong doesn't have that and I'm not saying it should have that. But it shouldn't be based on luck or external information whether you find a secret or not.
