I'm playing 4k@60 on an AMD 6950XT no FG with almost everything on cinematic. No UE5 game has run this good for me. I am using a bit of the resolution scaling because the frames will dips at times and the FSR3 looks so good I can't even tell like every other game. I've never used either FG or scaling because I play on huge 4K tv and always looks noticeable, here it's best looking game yet by far. You can see each individual hair it's insane detail even zooming in on a peach and see it has fuzz.

Yeah you need a modern rig to play modern games or get a console.

So you play with fsr 3 got It. You the target audience for consoles tbh. Almost all console games using FSR. Sounds like that machine is your dream one since all their games running there using FSR. ALL FUN GAMES, until you start playing 2d games with fsr 3. On your GPU, and then the copuim will not works in the meantime

Future games obviously needs upgrades to your computer, this has always been the case.

But you can absolutely play this game with decent frames smoothly on cards way older than 4090. I have a 4090 super, and can obviously play it on max with full RT, but you don't need that to enjoy the game. Playing on lower settings looks just a good, and people with lower end cards can enjoy the game, or should be able to enjoy it fine.

But upgrading your specs in order to play the next gen of next gen ♥♥♥♥ is pretty normal, and we all have to try and take those leaps. Gaming is expensive.

I have a 3060 TI and am getting massive stuttering, does this mean I have to upgrade just to play this game without sutter? feels like your gaslightling a new games optimization lol

I'm on a 6950 XT and get 100 fps on average at 1440p and max graphics. Game seems fine on my part. It does use a ton of system memory compared to other games. I maxed at 22gb, but I have 32gb in my system. Most people have like 64gb these days so that's not even an issue. For VRAM I never went above 9gb. I have 16gb and Resident Evil 4 on PC with max 1440p settings and Ray tracing on low almost maxed it out.

Even a caveman would know that one of the most demanding ray tracing games on the market, also being open world and adding effects most other RT games don't even have, does have exceptional performance impact. Ray tracing is highly expensive and there is no getting around that. This isn't an issue of optimization going on here.

Have you seen the performance of the RTX 4090 with path tracing in Cyberpunk 2077, Alan Wake 2, etc.? Obviously, you have not.

You have the option to lower the ray tracing settings or disable it entirely. This isn't rocket science.

Meanwhile, people with GTX 1070s and other low end hardware are playing this game just fine at settings their PC can obviously handle.

This is a bad take, even among bad takes.

Well you could be on a 7800x3D and a 7900XTX and get 0 frames like me because the game crashes in opening sequence. AMD 24.7.1 is the Joey Buttafuoco of Windows drivers right now. So I am waiting on a hotfix, because I have a decent enough backlog to play till then. I hate doing rollbacks... Because I'm lazy.

I think the point is to make a high end, high requirement game 3A game that sets a standard for China and especially their company. But OP's point is totally valid, for any AAA game regardless of origin.

I have built my new pc around a couple of months ago. I'm rocking a 4080 and an intel 19 14900k. First game I played on it was Dragon Dogma 2, it crashed maybe 2 times during my play through of around 180 hours. Then, while waiting for Wukong to release, I was playing a bit of No Man's Sky, and it crashed 2 times for that game (screen went black, graphics card fans sped up). It has done the same thing for Wukong, has crashed 3 times during my 40 hours so far. Same thing, black screen, graphics card fans spin fast. Not sure what is going on, as my GPU temps stay around 50 - 55 degrees Celsius. Feeling very disappointment as I do not know why this is happening and this is a new high end gaming pc.
