Game only using CPU and not GPU

Hello, my config is :

Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-9700KF CPU @ 3.60GHz 3.60 GHz
MSI NVIDIA RTX 2080 8Go VRAM
32Go RAM

The game is running kind of OK (40 to 60FPS in high setting) but its actually only using my RAM and CPU. So my CPU is often between 80 and 100%.

My GPU is literally untouched by the game and at 0% usage. I've downloaded the latest drivers and it's still not using my GPU. I've never encountered this issue on others games.

I've searched but I didn't find others persons with the same issue.

Does anybody have an idea on why ?

Impossible that your GPU is at 0%. Your FPS monitor is not working.

do you have the hdmi plugged into your motherboard? plug it into your gpu instead

Its at 0% on the game, the GPU is actually at 10-15% from normal usage and side app. My screen using the game is properly plugged into my GPU.

There's no bottleneck with a 9700KF and a 2080 together. What the hell are you even talking about and beside this game is progably not cpu demanding at all. Its recommend a 9700 for a reason.

Ok, forced high performance on the game with the GPU on windows, same on the nvidia panel and turned on hardware accelerated GPU scheduling on windows, don't know which one solved the problem but its ok now. Found these differents solutions on others games forum issues threads so its probably not wukong related

Your game migth be switching to integrated graphics in your intel? you migth need to set nvidia to choose Nvidia GPU and Windows Setting in Graphics

just because task manager or the software of your choice reads the wrong D3D Utilization and shows 0% does not mean your 2080 is able to run a UE5 title in 2D mode at literally idle.
use GPUZs sensor tab or HWInfo.

I have the opposite with an i7-9700k and a asus strix rog oc rtx 2080. Max gpu usage and only 50% on the cpu. I don't know enough about this stuff but this combos always been very balanced in demanding games yet for some reason this is out of wack.

This game is CPU demanding as hell, i have R5 5600x paired with RTX 4070 Ti Super and game is running like ♥♥♥♥. GPU usage always below 70%, FPS all over the place (roller-coaster 5-115FPS) and what's behing such laggy and irritating experience, guess what only two cores are used by the game, additionally core 3 and 6 sometimes are going to 30% while 1&2 are there doing nothing while 4&5 are running 95-100% all the time

Is your C drive full? When I start this game on my gaming computer, the CPU usage is only 50% every time.

9700kf doesnt have igpu, i think its impossible to run the game with 0% workload on gpu oO
