Nothing is visible because of the dark shadows

I can't play properly because I can't see anything. When moving from a bright place to a dark one or vice versa, nothing is visible for a couple of seconds, everything is very darkened. All effects are at maximum. What can be disabled to remove these "advanced technologies"?

Try disabling raytracing and play around with global illumination.

For me if Global Illumination is on anything higher than LOW then all shadow areas are way too dark and I have raytracing off

Messing around with Global Illumination might help, depending on the area.

It was Global Illumination for me as well. Everything is essentially pitch black in the shadows if it is remotely light elsewhere. It does somewhat adjust when in caves but not enough. Setting Global Illumination to Low (anything else is broken) and you can see like you would expect.

global illumination to lowest setting = bright world... but u miss out the idea of "cave" XD
