Is it possible to remove headgear?

you can hide it, check in game setting

There's an option in the settings menu.

Just turn it back on in Act 6 there's a bug that prevents you from continuing if you have it off in Act 6.

Yes, in Settings you can Hide headgear

thank you for the replies, is it maybe possible to just unequip it or does the game not let you do that

you dont unequip, it just makes it invisible, check settings mate, then turn off the show head gear
