I verified game file *and* set it to windows 8 compatibility mode *and* set it to low preset without dlss (tsr) *and* put a 30fps cap *and* forced DX11
and it still crash there after prologue.....
RTX 4080, Ryzen 7800X3D
i did. it can be implemented into the options
Crash may be due to low system memory. i play with 4070ti maxed ray tracing with 32GB ram and 7500F cpu, no single crash currently.
Have a look in the Event Viewer after you crash. I was constantly crashing and it turned out to be the Nvidia driver as my overclock was tuned to high for this game. Dialled it back a bit and not a single crash in over 20 hours. Worth a look.
Such a beautiful game otherwise.
Would also be nice to have better options for DLSS and resolution.
It's the remains of the Monkey King. If you read the book Journey to the West by Cheng'en Wu you will understand this battle accurately represents the Monkey King's power. But yes this fight is extremely hard and the developer team is new to this kind of game so it's not a very balanced fighting system design.
Totally agree. Let's wait for future optimization patches.
