Chapter 4, purple talisman quest bugged

If you get all 3 of the purple talisman and kill the chapter 4 boss before going up the stairs to get the 4th purple talisman it gets bugged where the barrier stops you from getting the last talisman. smh

got the same problem. 3rd talism at yellow loong is still glowing, that's why i cannot reach the 4th one because of the barrier. hope they fix that

I also got the issue here! The purple "flies" are still around one of them, I see the talisman on the ground, but can not interact with it.

+1 it's bugged to me as well, i was completing 100% the game since chapter 1 and this happens after kill the main boss of chapter i go back to the yellow loong and find out that has a final talisman and i can't get because of this! PLEAS FIX THIS PLEASEEEE

guys, for me 3rd pillar was glowing as well after picking up talisman. that is not game-breaking.

on the other hand, when I got to 4th and final one, I've never seen any barrier. I was able to take a pill even before grabbing 4th talisman and triggering a fight. imagine my surprise and confusion after a fight, when crane told me he will give me a pill and I got nothing.

When you guys say "final boss" do you talk about the final boss of the area or the whole chapter?

I am still at the temple entrance in Yellow Flowers area so i'm still far from reaching the final boss or the 4th talisman, and when I went back to the second talisman the purple flies and no longer there and i can't interact with it, The other 2 I removed the paper from, and there were purple flies around them still even now, but nothing on the second one, no talisman, not purple glow

Which got me thinking maybe it locks after fighting the old spider? or is it a bug?

yup same here. I wanted to pick the 4th talisman before defeating the boss (I died once and then discovered that 4th talisman). I haven't been able to pick it since, even after completing the chapter's boss.

^ You aren't missing much if you defeat the boss without collecting all 4 talismans. And, you can come back and collect the four talismans on your second game run after completing your first complete game run (finishing all chapters) . To finish the game completely, you will need to restart the stories from the beginning (after completing all chapters), but you will keep your stats, equipment, etc., as there are changes to interactions and to the game's ending .

I feel scammed heavy if this is true cause i don't want to run NG+. I love the game but i despise people that does this. It's inconsistent since you can accomplish everything else after the end boss of a chapter except for this one.

I hope the devs can come back on it cause ♥♥♥♥ that i don't want to rerun the game just for that.

isn't there only 4 talisman?? or is there a total of 5?

4 talismans, the 4th is where the barrier appears if you don't get there before finishing the chapter.

No, you can access it on your first playthrough (google Wukong cart quest), and you have to if you want all achievements in two playthroughs. In order to 100% the game in two playthroughs you need to kill all the secret dragons and get the 4 rare crafting materials from the chapter 5 secret area on both playthroughs (as you need 8 total).
