If you are in the middle of a light combo and you use a strong attack right as you are about to get it while ALSO having a focus pointed banked, you will counter the attack, take no damage, and deal extra damage.
Thanks, but that is difficult to trigger intentionally, isn't it?
Don't get me wrong, I wouldn't say it's easy to trigger, but nor is it extremely difficult.
I mean, if it was a little easier to successfully trigger the resolute counterflow, the game would be too easy, considering the way you can equip yourself in order to almost always have focus points available, you could basically "see through" any attack, and punish every boss severely. I hope I get to that point eventually.
But seriously, does the timing window need to be patched? Because, I am usually really good at stuff like that, perfect dodging, deflects and parry-riposte type things, but I am seriously having a very hard time to consecutively doing it successfully in this game. So it makes me wonder if something might be off...
