OP try these steps n read through this , it will likely fix it.
Because if it shuts down, that's as others have already said it : it's overheating.
You'll want to fix the issue at its core.
Nowadays it seems that flashing ur bios seems like a main reason for the random shutdowns , especially if its power kernel its almost always either outdated bios , faulty PSU or smth weird going on with the ram , depending if this problem accurs in more then 1 game or program it becomes easier to detect.
what you could try is enabling vsync disabling frame generation and if vsync is not enough (might be if you use a 120 or higher fps monitor) you can lock the framerate to 60
Overheating on a side note will first trigger thermal throttle , When this accurs ull first get a huge fps drop for x amount of minutes before it would shut down cus of it.
What was the last time u updated ur bios?
Go for it , it will likely solve it alltogether.
