Steam cloud file corrupted.
Hello, did anyone have this issue where their cloud save didn't manage to save and corrupted all the files and now have to start all over again?

In my case I beat White Clad noble ( the snake guy) after failing to beat him for so long (I'm not good in these souls-like games btw) and finally I could proceed further, so I stopped my gameplay bc it was already late, at Black Wind King and today I wanted to start from where I last left off just to find out I'm back at the same spot I was yesterday.

Is it game related or steam related? I know I wasn't far behind thankfully, but it will be annoying to beat this same boss again..

I had the same problem, but I was missing 5 hours of progress. After some research, I found a backup. Go to your Steam folder > steamapps > common > black myth > b1 > saved > SaveGamesBackup > RealtimeBackup. Now, look for the date when you killed the tiger. Open that folder and copy the files into the SaveGames folder.

Yeah first guy reply helped. Also wanna say that if you turn game off and immediately your PC, then it's most likely to happen I guess..but at some other cases it might be due to steam updates? Anyway if anyone wonders if it helped, as I said, first guy's reply helped so hopefully it will do for most of you! :)
