Yin Tiger
So i just beat him for the first time and its so worth it, not gonna spoil the rewards, but i have a question. As i interacted with him again, the challenge option was there again. Do i have to fight him for the second time? or is it just for fun/practice? If there is another reward worth getting then i guess i have to fight him for the second time, does anyone know?

Thanks!

I tried it again lol... Idk maybe it seemed a bit more aggressive or maybe it was just me.. but yeah I got nothing when I beat him again... Infact it cuts out the bit where he throws you the sword and you just bow.

I'm thinking maybe next chapter or one after he gets tougher and gives more rewards..

"In theory, you only need to defeat each boss once because after going through the 81 tribulations, you achieve enlightenment and become a Buddha. Therefore, there are a total of 81 bosses to defeat.

According to the story of Journey to the West, the four protagonists, led by Tang Sanzang, experience 81 tribulations on their journey to obtain the sacred scriptures. Each tribulation can be seen as a 'boss battle.' However, not every tribulation in the story involves a specific enemy or demon, so not all 81 tribulations correspond directly to a single 'boss.'

But if we consider each tribulation as a 'boss battle,' and assume that each one requires defeating a demon or enemy to overcome it, then theoretically, 81 battles are required. After overcoming these 81 challenges, the group would have completed all their battles and finally obtained the scriptures, leading to enlightenment.
