What happened to the dragon boss fight sequence?

I remember about 2 months ago there was a 12-ish minute showcase of chapter 3 and that is basically now cut content from the game. They seemed to have replaced it with another completely different boss fight, or am I wrong.
There was this flying creature that made you transform, and it led you to a boss fight, is it now all cut content? because it looked cool as hell and as far as I can tell it appears nowhere in the game online other than some footage from about 2 months ago.

Also from some more research it appears they completely cut the introduction to chapter 3 of the game, and replaced it with something entirely different? What went wrong. What we got looks like s**t compared to what was showcased 2 months ago (which I am assuming was near completion since it was completed, and they cut it?)

Also they still have the screenshots on their website, they've yet to remove them.

Also the rest of the game is really freaking amazing. I was looking forward to chapter 3, just not as much now.

This was 2ish months ago. I am certain at this point they were wrapping up development. Look at the current dragon boss fight. Completely different boss fights.
They even managed to cut a long cut-scene, basically eliminating any purpose of the 7 or so screenshots on their website that they still have up.

Yeah I'm aware that 'this may not reflect the final game' but it changed so drastically to the point of "What was the purpose of even showing it."
It just seems like bait now. That flying creature/transformation cutscene to the dragon is completely cut from the game, and now they replaced it with a baby and a re-textured dragon that doesn't look as NEARLY as good as it did then.

Nothing is cut. Loong fight is on the lake, you get to pagoda realm after and you turn into bat after escpaing it.

It is there, its kind of 2nd boss fight in Chapter 3 & its not optional , we transform into a flying creature & reach the dragon fight, the other 2 loongs are secret boss in chapter 1 & 2

If you look at what was shown 2 months ago (albeit it is reused footage) it has completely changed. The current boss fight looks nothing like it did 3 years ago when originally showcased. Even then 2 months ago they used the same footage (assuming it was in the game) and now it's cut?

By "cut" I mean drastically changed. There's now a boss fight it drops you off at before-hand, and they've completely changed the texture of the dragon to excuse me, look like absolute s**t compared to three years ago. It's not cut. It's drastically changed.

I am aware that it may have not been the "final product" but what you post/advertise 2 months before release should be pretty similar to what the final product will be. Especially using re-used footage is now cheap the more I research.

All I'm saying is that the boss fight looked incredible before they changed it. Now it looks like a cheap knockoff that everyone seems to complain about being difficult.

No idea what your settings are but at 0% image scaling and full cinematic setting except AA it looks amazing.
