2. Use the Respecc Option
3. Dont spread your Points in too much Skills or Stances.
4. Understand the Game Mechanics.
You can charge a Heavy Attack and walking in range but thats more trading blows, most of the time ineffective against bosses.
The real Power comes from dodging Combos and use the Focus for a Heavy Attack in melee range at the end of the combo.
Some Shady Skills are hard to dodge, use cloud Step in this phase.
The transformation Skill is good or bad most of the time, can eat alot of Level Ups. Think its not worth thee hassle at start.
The spirit have a active and a passive effect. Most of the time look for the passive bonus in my opinion.
When you have good Set dont upgrade for a little Defense. Look at the Setbonus and the viability in your build.
OP, you don't need ANYONE's permission to use cheat on a single player game. everyone wants different thing out of a game and not everyone wants to spent hours trying to beat a boss.
Although if you do, try not to go 100% god mode from the get go, let it assist you, not let it play for you.
Mix of both. There are some pretty OP upgrades, some of them are niche that require you to actually be good to make them useful.
But I already HATE Wu Kong for difficulty. I hate many bosses there. It's unnormal difficulty!!!
Elden ring is hard game, but it has many variants to make it easy like ghosts, player invites, magic and so on. I can't get pleasure fro this game. I afraid next bosses since the final boss of 2nd chapter.
You can't make such difficult game for million auditory! It's sick!!!
So... light light light heavy
Or light light heavy
You get the Gist.
The heavy attack has a build in parry/dodge which boosts your stagger and damage.
And of cause dodging. Not mashing mashing dodge.
Magic helps a lot. Mist step is overpowered, costs only a few MP and cooldown is fast.
Immobilize is crazy strong, especially once it can mob control.
Shadow clones deal huge damage and can even cast immobilize later on.
Actually.... just use the mechanics. Don't just rely on light attack and dodge.
I played the first 3 chapters with only dodge, light and occasional charged heavy. It was boring and unnecessarily hard.
