This is a staple of souls games, most of us souls players are used to not having a map.
I would not have been opposed to it though, I do go in circles sometimes.
Doesn't help that the enemies re-spawn either as that also makes me think that I haven't been to a certain area.
I seriously don't they will add one in (like 99.99% positive) as that would be a massive ordeal for them, but I think it would helped a lot of people, me included. For those Souls players who wouldn't have wanted to use it, didn't have to.
Chapter 2 is insane but all those district is connected to each others.
you just have to explore the map carefully.
If people think that chapter 2 is big, just wait for the later chapters. The forest area in chapter 3 is hard for me as certain areas look the same etc.
