Resolute Strike (?)
I'm in chapter 2 of the game and i still cant get this one to work. During a light combo you press heavy attack and perform resolute strike. I press heavy attack while light comboing and it just does the normal attack. Am I supposed to press it after the finisher or what? I feel extremely stupid for not being able to do something so simple and the video demo in the game shows someone spamming light attack and then pressing heavy attack to do the strike and makes them red, i never turn red, i can't do the attack. Help this small IQ man learn this move. It wont give you a practice dummy or let you hit the air to practice.

In order to use Resolute Strike, you need to have at least one Focus Point stored (those orbs on the bottom right of your screen). The light attack into heavy attack is correct, just need a Point to expend.

Ohhh so this is the Counterflow? The "seeing through" the enemy? I had been trying to figure this one out. Thanks

Yep, the description is awfully vague that I had to test on multiple enemies to find out.

its like an offensive parry its rly cool and probably meta, since you can just negate damage and keep attacking, but I think it requires most execution out of all the staff stances

This is the part i struggle with. Really weird ability to have unlocked when its very niche on how you use it in an odd way.

I have made the counterflow and see-through activate even when the enemies attack was more in the charge-up stage, and not directly before getting hit. I am still practicing.

It greatly helped me to spam the heavy attack before getting hit, instead of just tapping once, idk, but that definitely made me able to more consecutively activate the entire sequence, of phasing through the enemies attack and delivering a powerful counterattack that often stuns heavily.

Still trying to master the timing for this, as it seems like an essential skill to master, like Dark Souls parry-riposte, or Sekiro's Deflect...even though I am not comparing these games at all to Wukong, just giving ideas on how to think about the skill "resolute strike"'s potential utilizations in-game.
