The souls like comparison is gonna be disappointing if you're aiming for Elden Ring level difficulty.

The game honestly players more like a hybrid of Nioh 2 and God of War. If you like those two games then maybe give it a try. You can always try refunding it in less than 2 hours.

Not a souls at all. It's a traditional action game with "RPG" elements (as in: build your specs)
The game last between 30 to 50 hours. For me it justifies its price.
The difficulty ramps up after a little while so if you like difficult you'll get that.

would you say something like dmc is a more just comparison?

Alredy refund. The main boss of the first area is way too hard for me, you cannot at this point upgraded your gear much( only one time ).

No more patience for this type of game. Only boss fights? Absolute not.
I am not spend 2, 3, 4 hours to try kill a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ boss.

More like the more recent God of War, without the annoying kid and the woke elements and the brain-dead puzzles. Maybe less complex but I'm not far in the game (been too busy these past few days.)

Im missing a higher difficulty mode, the game is a little bit too easy and the invisible walls are kind of annoying.

Otherwise its a pretty good buy, you are for sure doing nothing wrong if you buy it for 60 $.

I'm loving it so far.... that being said, I'd much rather have paid $40 for it, It's a great game, but it doesn't strike me as a game with a huge level of replayablity or things to do in regards to side quests and such.... who knows, maybe I'm wrong and just aren't yet far enough in, but so far this seems like a really good one and done experience.
