So how is china's crunch time?
As we know, all t he major titles usually get hit with some whistleblower backlash about how they basically murdered their employees to deliver a quality product? Remember Rdr2? You think the Dev teams of Wukong gonna get an article about how the chinese dev team got forced to work 24/7? There is no way this title was made on a casual note.

Making video games is a lot of work. If you had 50 million invested from government and corporate big money interests, you'd probably want the best of the best who're impassioned about video games. Generally they work long and hard hours.

So probably a lot of crunch, just because video game.

china doesn't have crunch. its expected over there that you work until you go hollow and then they toss your husk into the biomass exploder so that your nutrients can feed the next generation of chinese sweatshop workers. probably 100-200 chinese people were exploded into biomass after they succumbed to exhaustion just making the shirt on your back alone

WELL if we pretend that the IGN GASLIGHTING is TRUE then, those people there had plenty of free time, they could work out or go swimming during working hours and had an overall great work enviorment, IF YOU ASK ME.

HOWEVER the OG released game science tour on youtube showed a decent studio with NO WORKOUT OR SWIMMING AREA, i have to assume they were normal people with a normal working shedule

It's Stoicism, not western cry babying. The Chinese dev teams push through with grit, and Wukong is a product of that relentless drive, not casual effort.
