Can i get the spirit of a boss i missed.

I skipped the big stone head dude at the "outside the forest" shrine and wanted to come back and now im at the end of the chapter and he is not there, can i still get his spirit?

if u lost it.attention ！in the second chapter, u first meet the rat father with his second son ,then hit father's oldest son ,u need pay attention to a stone wall full of buddha's face. leading boss to hit the wall can trigger the hidden level

i just killed guangmou the serpent headed chief and died 1 second after beating him due to the poison , i didnt get the spirit and when i came back theres no drop for me or him to fight again - this really sucks....

scratch that i just went to the next shrine and theres an option to retrieve missed spirits

You can claim unabsorbed spirits at a shrine. If you do not beat some minibosses and push the story forward it will despawn for, ya know, plot reasons.
