Blocking and deflecting mechanics
Why is there no mechanics of blocking and deflecting enemy attacks in the game? We have a great staff, but for some reason we can't repel attacks with it... In my opinion, this is terrible and the game should add such an option, if not for all opponents, then at least for those who have weapons in their hands. In the final scene of the movie "The Forbidden Kingdom" we see a fight and how you can use weapons and not just dodge attacks. It can be seen that they were inspired by other projects, in particular Nioh, but why did they decide to replace the already outdated rolling mechanics...:lunar2020stubbornhorse:

I feel the same and refunded it...that dodge roll feels incredibly bad and there is just a stun and deflect...on a very long cooldown. I hate it

the third skill does this
it acts as your parry / deflect

There is but it's a skill and not a traditional deflect.

I'm not talking about skill. I'm talking about game mechanics that would allow all attacks to be deflected like in Sekiro

If you put more points and reach the bottom of dodging its nice.
The staff masteries kind of fill the deflect mechanics.
Keep in mind you have a nulify/negate attack skill in the staff mastery.
I dont think its needed, you can build your character around other mechanics, not to mention the spirit skills like the big head being an attack interupter as well
