Game won't launch anymore. UPDATE: FIXED
Right after the cutscene transition into chapter 2 the game crashed and has since been unable to launch. I've tried reinstalling the game, reinstalling graphics drivers, rolling back graphics drivers, verified game files, running in admin mode, and running compatibility mode to no effect.

I'm running on a Ryzen 9 5950X, GeForce RTX 3090, and 32GB of RAM.

Edit: FIXED!!!

Error application name: b1-Win64-Shipping.exe
Exception code: 0xc0000409

1: Go to Steam Settings > Downloads > Clear Download Cache
2: Uninstall the game and delete the b1 folder from %localappdata%
3: Reinstall the game.

Attempted a system restore that ultimately failed, but now the game is giving an error prompt. Nothing shows up in the event viewer now.

Error

Couldn't start:
"C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\BlackMythWukong\b1\Binaries\Win64\b1-Win64-Shipping.exe" b1\Binaries\Win64\b1-Win64-Shipping.exe" b1
CreateProcess() returned 2e4.

I have similar issues to OP, im on a ryzen 5 5600x with a4070SUPER, tried reinstalling game on different drive. Still crashes on black screen, not even getting to shader comp

Decided to update BIOS. No change. The new error prompt stopped appearing after messing with admin privileges.

I will not be reinstalling windows. If this persists for a few more days I'm gonna try for a refund.

I have 13th Gen intel -- Never ever had a problem till Dloading Wukong and shader compiling would only go up another 2% everytime I tried running the game. After all the "Run as administrator, try typing -dx12, start it from the original files" to no avail; I finally decided to update my BIOS from my Motherboards website (took a baby-touch of research to figure how to as it is way past my comfort zone) and after 15 minutes of learning and doing.. to my surprise .. Wukong loaded first time - w/o compatability mode -- Everything runs, loads and plays great now! I was mind blown!
